Assistant Director - Facilities

Description:Collaborates with supervisor to direct facilities configuration, renovations, operations and maintenance. Focus on providing a safe office/branch environment for members and staff. Provide oversight and management of purchasing, mail/supply functions and logistical support for all MECU locations, departments and staff. Coordinate repairs and maintenance of MECU-owned real estate.

* Managing Employee Performance: Ensure that employees fully understand their roles, responsibilities and performance standards./expectations and provides ongoing feedback and support.

* Fulfills Commitments: An Established pattern of working independently, meeting reasonable deadlines, and accepting responsibility for his or her actions.

Qualifications:Education: Bachelor Degree in a facilities related discipline such as engineering or Facilities Management preferred. In lieu of B.S., will substitute years of experience for education. Minimum 5 years experience working in the Facilities/Construction management profession plus IFMA certification (CFM), FMP and/or BOMA-FMA, SMA certification(s).
